About the event
The DBCK is excited to reintroduce the beloved Dutch concept of the VriMiBo to the Dutch-Korean business community! VriMiBo translates to Friday Evening Drinks and is comparable to the Korean concept of 회식 (hoesik), but is more informal and easygoing by nature. This Dutch workplace tradition involves professionals gathering at the end of the workweek, usually after 5:00 PM on Fridays, to unwind and socialize while sharing drinks and snacks. The primary goal is to foster bonding in a casual setting, celebrate the week's accomplishments, and smoothly transition from work mode into the weekend. No formal program, just easygoing socialising!
We're planning to organise a VriMiBo every quarter to bring the young and old, junior and senior, Dutch and Korean (and all other nationalities interested) professionals in Korea together to bond and mingle casually, Dutch style!
